Médiévales de gruissan + shopping pour le Voyage

Médiévales de Gruissan (France)

Last week-end we were doing a medieval festivity in Gruissan.
"Les médiévales de Gruissan".
It was on the XIIIth century. Steph was known as "Cyon l'héricie" and I was "Beatrix (or Rydia) la Despareille". There was a great historic battle in wich we were soldiers, Steph was a swordsman, and I was an archer. I even have hit some guy with my arrows, and really proud of it, if you consider 100km/h wind.
It was music & show too, totally improvised (for me), joining the "Armée des Maures". (soon they'll have a website I'll post)
Too much to say, if interested go watch the flickr gallery here :

Let's make Shopping for the Trip
Travelling is preparing too.
This week we bought on supermarkets and internet some pieces missing to our trip.
Excluding details about obvious underwears or raincut coat, here are the major pieces acquired :

  • The Bag : A 40 lit. bag might look a little short for long time travel, but it is our goal to be light travellers. It is one of the most important goal. Not really like possessions are bad or something, but they're HEAVY. Having strict minimum make us feel good about the trip, as if we were happy turtles.

  •   The New Computer : It took long to chose a computer for the trip. It needed to be performant (for live music shows and some games), small  (...so light) and obviously CHEAP.
We looked for the best reasonable choice, including every features we needed.
We ordered today a Sony VAIO VGN-SR21.13'3 screen, under 2 kilos, everything needed on it.
It will help us get in touch with everyone, and will be a good nomad studio for music and drawing.

We also received our medical european cards, so we can safely travel around europe now. Did I wrote safely? :) Now it looks like limitless details when thinking about "WHEN will we be on departure ? ".
I've found something to help me when people(or even myself) find time too long on everything,
It may be slow, but it's sure. Freedom is near. Get ready. Don't be affected by negative opinions. Just sit and watch dreams come true.

For now I'm going to check banks again and chose one that fits for travellers.
Yerk. Not my favorite topic. Money.

Kisses all,
and remember to Stay Strange :)

Destinations & Equipment

Our trip is severely late.Because of administrations.
Thanks to us to be organised, instead it would have taken much more.
So we're selling the car (almost done) and waiting for health cards.
Money is low, and the organisation that must pay is 4 month late !!!
But let's focus on something positive:
Having a later departure made much more oportunities to come up.
  • Edinburgh (Scotland)
Of course our first choice to visit our friend Simon there.
Also many musicians, as we heard. Epic architecture too.
  • Stockholm (Sweden)
A friend on myspace invited us there after exhanging good sound.
Try his myspace if you like a time travel in the 80's electro.

  • Cork (Ireland)
A friend Prescia is in Cork for Au Pair.
Her host family has got plenty of rooms and invited us.
  • South of Los Angeles (USA-California)
The farthest invitation. FX live there with his lover Roxy.
    Sounds nice and dreamy.

These are Top Posible destinations. Of course.
Instead we would have talked about Japan or else....

All we have to do now is waiting. Planning. Filling time.
We're playing RPGs.
Just finished Final Fantasy VI. Great.
Now let's go for the fourth!

And let me talk about the musical equipment I'm going to take on travel.
It is by KORG.
It's called NANO KORG.
NanoKey + NanoPad + NanoKontrol.
It has been developed for travelling musician.

Great na?
And this is only the NanoKey !

Kisses all from us !
